Who are we? Robin and Carol, Professional Sports Fans, Sports-Talk Radio hosts, Award-Winning Podcasters, Literary Geniuses and Purveyors of the finest sports attire you will find. Yes, we’re busy.

After years of cheering for the teams and athletes we love but laboring in another industry, we decided being a professional sports fan was right up our alley. But we had to make it at least APPEAR as if it was “real” job, so we did some research and found out that there are millions of women and men that follow sports on a regular basis but aren’t stat junkies or into it solely for Fantasy Leagues.
Following sports is a global passion, one that we can all identify with regardless of our favorite sport or team, and one that can bring us all together as fans.
So we decided that first and foremost, of course, women need better clothing options when it comes to supporting their teams. Over-sized and unimaginative jerseys just wouldn’t cut it for us. So we set out to design a line of tees that cleary indentify the wearer as an educated and supremely fashionable sports fan. (Guys, you have a ton of options already so we let you off the hook on the clothes.)
Now women can look hot while watching games, rooting for favorite athletes and talking shop on a regular basis whether at the office, the bar, the BBQ or the game.
Then we turned our sights on the world of sports content, be it for TV, radio, cable, satellite or the internet. We couldn’t survive without Sports Center, but we knew there were opportunities for great content that the fans would really appreciate that focused first on entertainment and then education.
The result? Fantoo Girls - Where The Girls Talk Sports.
Our podcast debuted on January 5th, 2006 and by that August we were carrying home the award for Best Sports Podcast at the People’s Choice Awards in California.
Shortly thereafter our terrestrial radio show debuted on Sports Talk 950 in Philadelphia with the distinction of being the first sports talk radio show hosted by two women.
We then kicked off 2007 with an invitation from AOL to host a daily show from Miami for the Super Bowl.
Before long the boys at SIRIUS came calling and we signed on as the first female hosted sports talk show on satellite radio. Every Monday from 1-3PM EST on SIRIUS Channel 123 we deliver the most entertaining and insightful sports talk to a loyal and equally hilarious audience. Now replayed on Sundays from 11:00 - 1:00 PM EST!
Now we are in 2008 and are jersey-deep in creating content for television and broadband.
We did all this for the fan that wanted the perfect sports content - smart, fun and thought-provoking. And we’ll continue to raise the bar. Or visit many. Whatever.
How much deeper can we go in creating content, products and services that help to make your life as a sports fan as fun as it can possibly be?
