History Repeats Itself - A-Rod Lies Again (For The Kids)

Maybe it was when A-Rod said he had no idea what steroid he took in the loosey-goosey era of baseball and then later said it was Boli, Bole, something like that. Maybe it was when he said he was young and stupid at 23, 24 and 25, when the math proved that he was young and stupid later, at age 26, 27, 28. Maybe it was when he tested positive, twice, which could not have happened unless he was taking more than just Primobolin, or Primobolen, whatever.

Or, now, maybe it is the fact that he has been associated with Angel Presinal, the Domincan trainer who was banned from the MLB since an October 2001 situation involving a gym bag full of steroids, border patrol and Juan Gonzalez (movie to drop in 2010). When did Rodriguez know him, you ask? Well, since 2001 to, oh fall of 2008. Yes, that would include his ‘clean’ uber-productive 2007 MVP season. The one which he asks the press people to consider when questioning whether to vote him into Cooperstown he had an unfair advantage through his career.

Well, it seems that Presinal traveled with him and stayed at his hotels with the ‘cousin’ Yuri Sucart (remember, A-Rod liked to stay at a different hotel from the team. Wonder why?).

On his side, Presinal claims the bag was filled with a painkiller (Soladek), Vitamin B (Dolo-neurobion) and a stimulant similar to ephedrine (Clenbuterol). None of these things were banned by the MLB at the time and yes, all were available over-the-counter in the DR. But that was 2001.

A-Rod traveled with him, though never appeared with him in person, throughout 2007.

Now go and jump to your own conclusions.
