Sadly, the Flyers did not roast the Bruins over an open flame last night at the Wachovia Center, but Robin did have to be restrained as the fighting between her and Riley Cote got a little too machismo. The Girls and ESPN had a blast capturing the antics on the ice and the magic that rains down in the elaborate recording studio as we handcraft a delicious podcast of all the sport you need to know.

We clean up kinda nice don’t you think?

Given the madcap schedule and our need to have Jay accompany us on our odyssey, this week’s podcast will be a tad delayed, but not a bit compromised. The Girls want to thank Riley Cote, Zach and all the fans who put up with Carlos’ monster camera and Kenny’s big, bad Baba Wawa boom mic. Melissa kept all the kids together so no one got lost, drunk or otherwise disengaged from the mission at hand. Our body guards, Jay the Zizzle and Chris Bozzi kept us safe until we took the ice. Then they ran like babies when Riley started flinging slapshots in their direction.

All in all a very successful outing capturing footage of The Girls that will either head directly to a blooper reel or make its cinematic debut on ESPN in late March. We’ll be sure to keep you apprised of the date and time.

Enough already, when’s the podcast drop, you ask? Tonight. Our apologies. Just know that we somehow were able to turn Johnny Weir into a professor and Michael Phelps his student. We have some serious issues talents.
