Who are those young upstarts taking on the Establishment? The no-namers from a place not called New York or Los Angeles, Chicago or Boston? The ones who keep you on the edge of your seat, not sure if you should give your heart to them or go with the proven product?

Why, it’s The Fantoo Girls! (K- and the Rays too, but we don’t have a huge press department pulling out all the stops to let the world know how great we are.) We are thrilled to announce that we have been nominated for Best Sports Podcast for the third year in a row. We took home the prize the first year, got a little over-confident the second (kind of like the Dallas Cowboys felt before playing the St. Louis Rams), and are now buckling down, determined to create the finest sports podcast for fans who would rather laugh than cry, or cry laughing.

Over 130 times we have holed up in the elaborate recording studio to lay down sports commentary laced with wit, wisdom, and wackiness. That’s almost three years of dedication and our best is yet to come. So, by all means follow the team you love throughout the World Series, but do not forget to follow the Fantoo Girls as we continue to chart maritime borders with enough overconfidence to pretty much make us believe we can do anything!

Voting commences this Thursday, October 23rd. Don’t worry - we’ll remind you. It’s like girls and their birthdays…you cannot run or hide.
