Now, we know this here is a sports blog, but every now and then an event happens, shockingly, outside of the world of sport that must be recognized. As is the case with Robin’s birthing of the unsuspecting calf below. And this calf needs a name.

He may look innocent, but he caused quite a stir before he was born. Robin’s brief instructions (as she was the only one on hand when the cow went into labor) were to ‘look for the hooves diving out’ and ‘if the head comes out first, push it back in and fish around for the hooves and pull them out.’ Easy right???

WRONG!

Well, the entire bovine did come out, unassisted. But he still needs a name.

Bracket Buster is in the lead, but we know there are more contenders out there. But remember not to get too attached - these animals are meat cattle.

Speaking of which, Robin and former NFL great, Carl Banks (co-host with Erik Fenton for the first segment of our SIRIUS show), will be having a BBQ rib show-down…more details to follow. But Banks is tangling with the wrong person - in the wrong category. Kind of like Big Show mixing it up with Floyd Mayweather.
