Head Butts, Secret Sauce and Baseball’s Back with The Girls!
It’s been a wild week - and we’re only halfway there.
Immediately after the taping of our podcast, Chris Benoit’s toxicology report was released, Michael Vick was indicted and Gary Sheffield’s interview with Andrea Kremer on ‘Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel’ was aired. It’s enough to make you dizzy.
And if that’s not enough, Carol, Fantoo Girl extraordinaire, made a mission impossible into to NYC for our SIRIUS show taping and managed to get out before the steam pipe blast near Grand Central and before having her baby.
Could be any moment now - so stay tuned.
Last, but not least - here’s where to find us this week:
SIRIUS Satellite Radio - Sports Central - Channel 123 - LIVE - Wednesdays from 1-3PM EST and replayed on Thursdays from 11-1PM EST. It’s all Michael Vick all the time - from legal experts to esteemed Yahoo Sports writers. And Carol gets all hot and bothered by our number one guest: Mr. Phil Liggett
Philadelphia Eagles - XX Factor - our weekly Wednesday feature on the NFL’s #1 team website. This week’s feature chronicles the 3 Eagles game the girls are most excited to see.
Sports Radio 950 - LIVE - We’re still at it on terrestrial radio! Saturdays from 8-10AM EST. Listen LIVE online if you’re not in the Philly area.
But before you worry about other fine Fantoo original content, sit back and enjoy Episode 80.
Head Butts, Secret Sauce and Baseball’s Back with The Girls!
Today The Girls are coming to you live from the head of Aussie rugby player, Ben Czislowski, now that there’s finally room after the doctor extracted the tooth of a competitor which had been lodged in Ben’s skull for…THREE MONTHS! Now this is a head we want to visit. For at least an episode anyway.
The Aussies know how to do sports, that’s for sure, but sport in the other parts of the world calls our attention. Some come West like Beckham,

bad ankle and all, and Vicky B, his perky better half and some go East, like Phil and Tiger. Some pack up for training camp, like all the NFL players who aren’t currently serving time, just got indicted, or are looking for a strip club. And finally some pack for road trips now that baseball is back from it’s mini-vacation.
Speaking of baseball, thanks to the our friends at Sports Illustrated, The Girls have been educated in the fine art of predicting post-season success in MLB and let you in on the little secret known as “Special Sauce”. That’s our Fan-Tutor of the week, and it’s going to be your leg up on all the sports-meisters gathered around the water cooler as the second half kicks off and post-season predictions begin to flow. Don’t miss it.
And while you won’t miss much with Barry Bonds these days, you will want to pay close attention to the teams that are surging, like the Chicago Cubs. Seems like Sweet Lou’s tough love was just sweet enough to frost these boys and now they are ready to prove him wrong.
After running the bases, The Girls head on over to Milwaukee to lament the picking of Yi with all of the Bucks fans who wonder, Why did we select him?

Seems the Chinese Government is more concerned with preparing Yi for the Olympics than making a career in the NBA, to which we say: Keep Yi, your seafood, your toothpaste, your kerosene-filled eyeballs and lead-painted trains, and any other fabulous goodies you want to send in the direction of the United States. We have our own problems. Like trying to find a landfill big enough to bury Greg Oden’s tonsils. Additionally, we don’t think the whole ‘use rockets to disperse rain clouds’ plan is such a good idea from a country that can’t figure out that saline water is a better filler for toys than other assorted flammable liquids. We could be wrong, but, um, we’re not.
And in this week’s IT HAS TO BE SAID The Girls ask that age old question: Save the baby or save the car? So grab your protective suit, your special sauce and a close friend to share it all with - it’s time to talk sports with The Girls!
